Expo Centre Sharjah launches fashion fair

With the premium segment turning out to be a bright spot for the retail industry, Expo Centre Sharjah is set to launch a consumer fair to target the region’s increasing demand for luxury apparel, footwear, perfumes, and other accessories.

The Trendz Exhibition 2020, is currently underway at Expo Centre Sharjah until December 19.

Being one of the most attractive markets for luxury goods in the Middle East, the UAE is home to consumers who are willing and able to spend on premium products, a key factor that laid a strong foundation for an event like Trendz.

“Premium fashion products have become an integral part of the lifestyle in the UAE, with consumption being driven by high disposable income, rise in discretionary spending, presence of leading global brands and a young and fashionable population. The fact that the UAE acts as a gateway for global fashion brands to the entire Middle East region has helped the country become a world-class retail hub with a strong domestic market,” said H.E. Saif Mohammed Al Midfa, CEO, Expo Centre Sharjah.

The Trend’s Exhibition 2020 will have an entry fee of Dh5, while children below 12 enter for free.
