Lara Stone makes fashion statement in very ripped jeans with rarely seen husband

Lara Stone stepped out in London with her new husband – six years on from her split from comedian David Walliams

Lara Stone made a bold fashion statement as she stepped out in very ripped jeans on Tuesday.

The rarely seen model rocked the shredded look as she walked her Border Terrier dog Bert in London.

Despite her legs being on full show, Lara dressed for the drizzly weather when it came to the rest of her outfit.

She wore a black waterproof jacket which she teamed with a casual grey T-shirt and green wellington boots.

Her long blonde hair was scrapped back in a ponytail and she appeared to be make-up free.

The 38-year-old was accompanied by her new husband David Grievson, a 41-year-old property developer.

Before tying the knot with David, Lara was famously married to comedian and Britain’s Got Talent judge David Walliams.

The former couple got together after meeting at a Chelsea football match back in 2009.

Lara admitted she was nervous on their first date but knew they shared a “very mean sense of humour”.

After a whirlwind romance, the unlikely duo announced their engagement in January 2010.

They married four months later in a £80,000 ceremony at Claridge’s hotel in central London, followed by a party at Shoreditch House.

Celebrity guests included David’s Little Britain co-star Matt Lucas, Sir Elton John, Steve Coogan, Geri Halliwell and Russell Brand.

Lara gave birth to their now nine-year-old son Alfred – known as Alfie – in 2013.

But less than two years later the couple announced their split – with David said to be devastated by the breakdown of their relationship.

In 2015, Lara agreed to take the blame in divorce proceedings so they could legally end their five-year marriage.

She cited her “unreasonable behaviour” as grounds for divorce – but no further details were made public.

Giving a rare insight into their marriage, Lara said being in the public eye became too much for her.

She said: “I’d been at his [David’s] house and was walking back to the tube and this car was driving next to me and they were taking pictures the whole time. It was just so bewildering and terrifying.”

Dutch supermodel Lara – who was the face of Calvin Klein and has appeared on the front cover of Vogue – has since moved on with new husband David.

She revealed the pair met on dating app Tinder in 2018 and got engaged in February 2020.

In a series of snaps posted on Instagram, the mum-of-one revealed they had married in a private ceremony in Berkshire last summer.

The bride wore a simple white floor length gown with a veil – which she later swapped for sunglasses as her and David had their first dance.

She captioned the post: “Got to marry my love this weekend!”
